The Current Account offered is a two-in-one account, which allows you the benefit of both savings as well as current account. The account provides facility of earning interest on the funds in it, while at the same time allowing you the flexibility to withdraw monies, as per your requirement through the cheque book facility provided to you.
You can open a current account in Hong Kong Dollar (HKD), United States Dollar (USD) and / or Renminbi (RMB). The minimum balance requirement is HKD 10000, USD 1500 and RMB 10000 respectively.
The interest accrual will happen daily and will be credited monthly in the account. Interest will be paid on the credit balances for Retail Current Accounts
Your monthly statements of the account can be mailed at the communication address as per Bank's record. The statements are also sent to the registered e-mail ID and can be viewed in the Retail Net Banking platform as well.
Yes, two cheque books of twenty five leaves each will be provided for every current account.
No overdraft facility is provided on the Current Account
The service charge payable for the account will be communicated by the Bank from time to time, and are detailed in the Schedule of Charges. You can confirm the applicable charges by contacting our Relationship Manager / Customer Service Manager by calling 22342651 or visiting us at the branch.
It is quite simple. You must contact our Relationship Manager or visit the branch, fill the Relationship Opening Form and furnish the following supporting documents.

Yes, you can hold the Current Account in joint names, to a maximum of four account holders. The account operations shall be in accordance with the instructions provided at the time of account opening.
