Track your account activity in real time with ICICI Bank Hong Kong’s SMS Alerts service. Receive instant notifications on your registered mobile number whenever money is credited to or debited from your account, helping you stay informed and in control.
Overview of SMS Alerts
ICICI Bank Limited, Hong Kong branch offers SMS Alerts to help customers monitor transactions on their current accounts. With this service, you receive text messages confirming transactions so you never have to wonder whether funds have moved in or out of your account.
SMS Alerts notify you of credit or debit transactions that meet or exceed a threshold value chosen by you, in the currency of your account. Alerts cover transactions such as interest credits or debits, pre-authorised debits, and cheque credits or debits.
If you notice any transaction that you did not initiate, you can notify the Bank immediately for investigation.
How SMS Alerts Work
You can set different threshold values for credits and debits on your account. Once a transaction equals or exceeds the chosen threshold, an SMS alert is sent to your registered mobile number.
Fees and Charges
The SMS Alerts service is charged at a nominal monthly fee based on the currency of your current account:
- HKD20 per month
- USD2.50 per month
- RMB20 per month
Standard messaging rates charged by your mobile service provider may apply. The frequency of alerts depends on your account activity.
Availability
- SMS Alerts are available for current accounts held in HKD, USD, and RMB
- Alerts are available only for registered Hong Kong mobile numbers
How to Register for SMS Alerts
You can register for the SMS Alerts service by:
- Visiting any ICICI Bank Hong Kong branch
- Downloading, completing, and submitting the SMS Alerts registration form
